I love the look of beading in photos, but now that I started shopping in person, all the ones I've seen have been really sparkly. Has that always been the case? Or is this a new trend?
I thought it looked kinda prom dress-ish, but now I'm wondering if there is even an alternative (without going plain satin). Even the lacy dresses were sparkly!

I just realized the prom dress I got doesn't have a back, because the top is a halter.
Am I supposed to wear it without a bra? Does it probably come with built in cups? I ordered it out of a catalog from a store, and I've never worn a fancy dress before, so I have no clue about any of this!

I am a teacher and wanted to have my class do something good for the community. I thought that since they are all gearing up for their senior prom, a good charity would be to raise money for a boy or girl who cannot afford to go to theirs. I have heard of these types of charities in the past but I don't know if any exsist in the Philadelphia area. Can anyone help?
