My prom is May 2nd and I am looking for a short puffy prom dress. Everywhere I look it is the exact opposite of what I am looking for. I want a puffy dress that's short, I want it to be either a halter or strapless dress, I want it to be tight around the ribcage area with a puffy bottom....... Answers ???

... i wanna know how to create a puffy skirt i mean how much of cloth can u put inside it lol... is there anythin else tht u fix inside??to make it look puffy???
i also would appreciate it if u could name all the parts of a ball gown... umm i dont really understand wot a bodice means,,, is it the part from ur bust to ur waist?? .. there again they put somethin stiff inside to give the body a nice figure / could someone puleeeeeez tellme how to do all tht,,,,

I want to wear a beaded, strapless, puffy princess dress for prom. Is that outdated? Like, several years ago it was the hot thing, but nowadays it seems like girls are all wearing short little party dresses instead of classic ball gowns. What would you think if I took a modern twist on this classic ballgown look and got it shortened to knee length, but still kinda puffy all around. This way it'd be more modern, but still a princess look. What do you think?
