I have a vintage prom dress from the 80s that I am wearing to prom. It is a Positively Ellyn party dress, but is shorter in the back than it is the front.

Mine is all black, and the bow is in the back. But that's the basic idea.
I wouldn't mind the dress being shorter in the back, but when I bend over, you can see my butt. This is a problem, obviously.
I did the whole elegant prom dress thing last year. Now I want something that is pretty, but fun and easy to dance in. I went with the vintage dress, because I love vintage fashion and it's pretty. I want a good 80s look (not TOO 80s, but 80s-esque).
Would wearing leggings with this dress be a bad idea? If so, what kind would you suggest? If not, what do you think I should do about the shortness?
Does anyone know any shops where someone can create a dress based on your design? Basically I know what I want I just need someone to physically make it for me. All my searches keep turning up custom wedding dresses or prom dresses or men's suits though...
i need to know what kind of shoes to wear and what color bands to get on my braces. i dont want HIGH heels, but i have blonde hair and i need suggestions on everything to do about it..(this is my first prom) any help
