I have a plain, dark blue, floor length prom dress. It is a halter top dress, with a silkier metallicish texture. The dress is completely plain, nothing on it at all. It comes down to the floor on me, and I am 5 foot 6. I need some ideas on what I can add to it or put on it to jazz it up a little bit! Thanks alot for you help, and please leave any ideas that come to your mind, I am looking to dress up a dark blue dress for a snowball dance.
is there anything i can like add to it other than accessories, like something sparkly or fun to make it stick out!

My prom dress is very dark blue, at the store I bought my dress I found a cute zebra print clutch with clear sequin over it. After seeing them together my mom and I thought it would be a fun way to add some flare to my very simple dress by accessorizing with zebra print instead of just black. So we found zebra print flats (which are covered by my dress), a zebra shawl and fake nails with a zebra pattern. Also my date will be wearing a zebra tie and blue vest. I was really excited but my dad saw it and made a comment about how stupid it was to mix them. Now I'm concerned. Is it okay to mix zebra and navy blue?
