i really don't want to do a smokey eye (i always turn out looking terrible.) and i'm thinking pink & gold, or a purple look. i don't know about lips. and i don't know what nail color i should go for, but definitely not black or gray. i'm not going as a newspaper x]
if it helps, the theme of prom is antique circus.
i don't have the money to get my makeup done :[ i'm doing everything myself. and hair and the french manicure is no problem. i can do the pink and gold look with no problem, but the smokey eye look just looks a bit... trashy on me. trust me, i've tried many times to achieve the smokey eye look without looking trashy.

I love the look of beading in photos, but now that I started shopping in person, all the ones I've seen have been really sparkly. Has that always been the case? Or is this a new trend?
I thought it looked kinda prom dress-ish, but now I'm wondering if there is even an alternative (without going plain satin). Even the lacy dresses were sparkly!

I'm a thick girl. Dresses I usually get size 11 and it fits my waist but I need 13 to fit my boobs. Ok, so my butt's big. My boobs are 36D. My waist is okay, not too fat. My hips are wide. Me and my date want to match. I already have a black suit(the pants and the jacket). My date is wearing a baby blue dress, so i was thinking of what to wear.
