Well Prom is in a week (last minute shopper) and I need to cordinate the colors w/ my date his tie is purple and I need to find a short,pretty,elegant, purplish dress. Any suggestions of places to shop???
I have prom coming up this Saturday and I really want to have defined makeup. My dress is a turquoise-ish color with silver beading and the look that I'm going for is dramatic/intense/smoky, yet really defined. I want my eyes to stand out, yet look natural and not overly done. I'm not exactly sure how to achieve this look. How do I apply the dark colors on the corners of my eyes for best results? What colors should I use and which part of my eye should I place it to have the best results? Also, I always have a problem choosing a lipstick color. I love the outstanding red, but it never seems to look good on me.. what color should I use to get maximum results?

I recently attended a bridal show and saw lots of gowns with color, either with colorful sashes or embroidery. However, I'm looking for a wedding dress that's a different color from white or ivory altogether.
I love the idea of pale gold or a deep red, but I don't want it to look like a prom dress (most prom dresses are a bit too frou-frou for me).
I've found a few, but I need something around $700 (give or take $75) and available in plus size. Does anyone know if there's a company that sells something like this?
