I love the look of beading in photos, but now that I started shopping in person, all the ones I've seen have been really sparkly. Has that always been the case? Or is this a new trend?
I thought it looked kinda prom dress-ish, but now I'm wondering if there is even an alternative (without going plain satin). Even the lacy dresses were sparkly!

That's pretty much my dress. The beading is slightly different, but those are the same colors. It has orange beads on it as well, but ... just slight.
It's strapless... and I'm not all into showing that much of my skin.
I have a shawl that is the turquoise blue, but I'd rather it be a jacket/bolero.

Prom is April 4th and I don't know what color(s) of makeup to wear that will be funky with a bright orange/coral dress, it has silver beading and my shoes are silver glitter converse if that helps... PLEASE HELP!

I tried one on today and I really liked it. It has that skin-colored sheer fabric on the top with the glitter and beading and stuff, then a regular silky bottom half in a color matching the beading and glitter. But stupid me, i never bothered to look at the brand name. What prom dress brand names carry these types of dresses with the sheer nude tops? thank you very much.

I've had my prom dress packed away for 3 years and for whatever reason it ended up hanging in a garbage bag... the dress is still clean and colorful.. with the exception of half the beading on the corset. It turned yellowish. The dress is blue so it doens't look bad, but I'd like to know if it can be cleaned. Thank you!
